GRAVITAS LEADERSHIP
Gravitas Leadership was born with the first Leadership Centre.
In 1997, IMD Business School in Lausanne opened the first Leadership Centre in Europe. IMD was looking for a partner with technical and logistical skills to adapt its exercises and methods to the business world, working with one of its tenured professors. And the challenge was met.
In 2003, the company began a collaboration with ABN AMRO for which it conducted more than 100 seminars around the world, some in the middle of the desert and some up in the mountains. Experiential Learning was launched, and it developed by proving its effectiveness to many companies.
In 2004, international collaboration started with INSEAD Business School.
In 2013, the EXLEA subsidiary was created for Singapore.
In 2014, a partnership was signed with the Château de Courances (in the Essonne department a few miles away from Paris, in France) to host the seminars.
In 2017, many exercise venues were built in the park of the Château de Courances.
In 2018, three new partners joined Philippe Haberer to support the company’s development.
In 2019, domestic collaboration started with EDHEC Business School.
In 2020, Gravitas Leadership participated in the creation of an exclusive seminar venue on the Domaine of the Chateau de Courances, in partnership with Pierres d’Histoire and the owners of the castle.
In 2022, six new patners joined Gravitas Leadership to support the company’s development.

Drawing on our international experience we are dedicated to be carefully in regard to cultural, religious and food differences. We are aware to take into account each participant as a unique being. Consequently every seminar could be experiencied without fears about food, allergies or accommodation in private bedroom.
